early x-wing in ep.3

A little bit too 'busy' in the design here, methinks. Too much complexity. The simpler designs are generally better.

I kinda don't like the new Jedi Fighter design because it reminds me of the Phantom TIE from Rebel Assault 2 crashed into a EP2 Jedi Starfighter.

In some ways the ships and vehicles of the Prequel Trilogy ARE more "modern". The Empire clamped down on innovation that wasn't for it's own needs and put the galaxy back into a sort-of "dark age". Many of the ships and vehicles in the original trilogy are old technology that's been around for many years and kept going by the repair techs.
