AND I just got a signed postcard from Phil Proctor in the mail today as well. Another e-mail success. Wow, I'm getting these faster than I can post in the forum.

Got a success today from Sherwood Schwartz! All I can say is WOW! WOW! WOW! Mr. Schwartz is amazing! I sent him a letter, SASE & four custom made index cards on July 10th 2007 & today I received them back personalized and signed! He also sent along four extra 8x10 photos: two from Gilligan’s Island, one from the Brady Bunch & one headshot of himself that were also personalized & signed! I couldn’t believe it! 8 Autographs total! He used his own envelope and returned mine. I am so excited about this success! I figured since it was taking so long for a response, that I wouldn’t get a reply. Well I sure got a reply and even better than I imagined! Thank you so much Mr. Schwartz!!

I got an amazing email success today from Wendy “The Snapple Lady” Kaufman! She sent me a very nice 8x10 photo that was personalized & signed, plus she also surprised me with a super cool Snapple T-shirt (size large) & 224 page book entitled: The Snapple Aptitude Test by Sandy Wood & Kara Kovalchik!! WOW! I’m so happy! I never expected her to send those! Thank You so much Wendy!

I got a wonderful success today from Millvina Dean! I sent her a Letter, birthday card, SAE, $2.00 & four custom made Index cards. She signed all four of the cards and even put my full name on one of them!! She signed two of the cards for my local public libraries as well! I’m sure my libraries will be quite surprised by these as they don’t even know I was getting them & I’m going to donate them for their historical wall displays!! My SAE & $2.00 was used. Thank You so much Ms. Dean!

Please don't send me any Email or PM's (Private Messages) requesting Ms. Deans address, as I'm not going to give it out. If you REALLY want to write to her, do some internet searches. It took me about an hour, but I was able to locate the address. I don't want to sound mean or selfish, but since she has asked to not have her address posted I'm just respecting her wishes.

Received a very cool E-mail success today from Click and Clack the Tappet Brothers AKA Tom & Ray Magliozzi!! There the hosts of the hilarious radio show “Car Talk” on NPR (National Public Radio). They also had a role in the Disney Pixar film “CARS” as the voices of the rusty Van and Car named: Rusty Rust-eze & Dusty Rust-eze that sponsor Lightning McQueen!! Tom & Ray sent me an awesome 8x10 photo that was personalized and signed by both of them! They also included a very funny Christmas postcard that was signed by their Official Multimedia Associate Producer Doug Mayer. The other signatures on the back are Pre-Prints. Thanks Guys! Thanks Ryan, I'm quite pleased with it myself. After watching several rocket launches and a Space Shuttle launch this past fall, and watching The Right Stuff several times after those launches, I figured I should send off a request to him.
As for the inscription, did you request it in your letter? I did.

WHOOPS! I just went upstairs and looked at it again and sure enough he did personalize my Index Card! DUH! I don't know why I thought that he didn't. But as to your question, Yes I ask all celebs that I write to, to please personalize my items. Makes them more special to me. I love when they take time to write your FULL name!!

Haha I quite an interesting success today...

I sent a letter to John Whitman who I believed was the author of the Star Wars Galaxy of Fear Books. I received a reply today from a different John Whitman who wrote on an index card:

"Harper was me mixed up with another person. I am a writer, but of travel and gardening books. I also co-wrote Youngblood, a film with Rob Lowe and Patrick Swayze as stars years ago. Best, John Whitman"

and he also signed and dated 2 other index cards. So I guess that's a success. Very odd, but very cool nonetheless.

Just got two successes today: A signed bookplate and 2 index cards from Donald F. Glut who wrote the ESB novelization (2nd time success) and a signed trading card from NASCAR driver Matt Kenseth.
