Borsk, the answer is yes, your assumption, however, is not logically sound. The Gundark appear in neither the OT nor the PT but could not be considered exclusively EU because there were references to Gundark in the OT (Han mentions pulling the ears off a Gundark) and the PT (Obi fell into a pit of Gundark). Thus while the Gundark have only appeared in the EU they are not exclusively EU. I am not, by any means, a Gundark, because I am not alive. I am not a earless dead Gundark because I am a place. So other than using them as an example to debunk your flawed logic you ought to completely ignore the Gundark unless you are in imminent danger of being eaten by one, in which case I propose you pull off its ears...
