About 10 years ago or so, the New Zealand electricity company
Powershop used this image in some of their advertising. Lucasfilm lawyers sent them a letter to stop using it (news website
Stuff.co.nz), but they seem to be still using it from time to time because it's turned up in an online magazine today.
I think I've also seen the "Sound of Music Vader" image used in adverts for the vinyl/video/pop-culture store
Real Groovy in Auckland, New Zealand. They have certainly used other copyrighted animation characters in their advertising in the past (Pink Panther and Hanna-Barbara).
