Ewan McGregor awarded Queen's OBE Honour

Ewan McGregor was awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire, official definition) in the Queen's New Years Honours list.

That means he can now get the personalised licence plate "OB1 OBE" and George Lucas / Disney can change his character's name to "OBE-Wan KenOBE".

Alec Guinness of course also had a knighthood from the Queen years ago, so that means both Obi-Wan Kenobi actors are real knights now (I'm not sure if Ewan is allowed to use "Sir" - that's only for UK recipients, and I'm not sure which part of Ireland he's from).
