DETAILED PICTURES AND REVIEW</CENTER>
Just a few days before the premier of Attack of the Clones nationwide, Hasbro has released a total of 8 new figures for the new Saga Line. Collection 1, includes two new striking sculpts of two great Empire Strikes Back characters, while Collection 2 offers one from Return of the Jedi and one from The Phantom Menace. There is also one BIG spoiler accompanying the Jango Fett figure offered with Collection 1. Although the package does not make any mention of such, once you try to get the figure out, you'll be faced with the truth of one spoiling feature. I strongly suggest that if you do not like spoilers, you should wait until you see the movie or limit yourself from seeing the detailed pictures I have posted of this spoiler.

<CENTER>MACE WINDU</CENTER>
This Jedi master comes accessorized this time with only his purple lightsaber. His face sculpt and detail is one of the best yet in the likeness of actor Samuel L. Jackson; the yelling expressing on his face has been nicely captured, showing his teeth and even the tongue BUT that is about all the positive talk I can give about this figure.
Despite the fact that overall the figure has been nicely sculpted, the lightsaber-slashing action offered with the character, put in simple terms well, SUCKS! By pressing on a button which sticks out quite a bit from Mace's butt, the figure moves his torso and his arm swings. The pin jointed elbow makes Mace's arm swing out way too far and hangs loosely, making his arm appeared deformed or broken. His right hand, where the lightsaber should be placed, hides within its palm a magnet to "force attract" the saber. The very end of the hilt should be placed in a hole on the sleeve, close to the hand, securing this way the lightsaber from falling, when in play.
The figure is only articulated at the neck, shoulders, right elbow and waist. Again, there aren't too many poses you can obtain with a sculpt lacking articulated legs. The extra "slashing action" featured on his arm and the button sticking out from his rear, definitely takes away aesthetically from the figure and destroys what otherwise could had been a great finished product.
<CENTER>LUKE SKYWALKER</CENTER>
As a great contrast to the previously reviewed figure, Luke Skywalker "Bespin Duel" is indeed a fantastic sculpt, extremely well accesorized, including fantastic features.
Luke's face has been captured in all his glory, even showing the bruises from the battle and messed up hair.
Although, there is one of those button sticking out from his rear to create the lightsaber-slashing action, it is easily overlooked when comparing it to the amount of articulation the figure comes packed with. Luke is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrist (left hand), waist, knees which can fully be rotated 180 degrees as well as back and forth. His right arm is detachable, recreating the Bespin fight with Darth Vader, and can be placed back by the use of a magnet which sticks out from his hand, serving as a joint and allowing for the hand to be fully rotated.
Accessories abound with the figure as well. A Bacta tourniquet which can be placed on his arm after removing the hand; a blaster gun which fits nicely in its holster, a nicely sculpted lightsaber with removable blade and a weathervane which can be attached to the top or side of a suction cup, greatly recreating the one seen in Cloud City. You can place the figure grabbing hold of the weathervane, the suction cup allows for practically, placement anywhere.
This is by far the best figure of the year so far and one of the best ever made. If only Hasbro will make all of the figures just as good as they made this one, what a sweet thing it will be.
<CENTER>DARTH VADER</CENTER>
Another great sculpt is this all new Darth Vader figure and very nicely accessorized also. The character has been created well proportion, having the correct stature and pose. His outer cloak is a detachable plastic piece which has been sculpted as if it was waving in the wind; the inner cloak offers the same feeling. The vision enhancement receptors (eyes) have that purplish look, causing a striking effect when hit by a light.
The figure is articulated at the neck and shoulders, allowing his left arm to be rotated 180 degrees at the shoulder joint. Both wrists are also articulated. His waist can be rotated by pressing the button on his back, which is nicely hidden under the cloak.
Vader's opened left hand has an embedded magnet permitting the removable blade lightsaber to be "force-attracted" when the hand is placed over it. There is no articulation at the knees.
The slashing action feature on this figure does make sense. Such feature "slashes" and "cuts" the vertical support (column) the character comes packed with. Also packed with the figure is a piece of the outer walkway on Bespin, which attaches to the vertical support piece.
Not as full of features as the Bespin Luke, though, Bespin Vader still will hold a strong liking amongst collectors, mainly to the overall look of the product and authentic recreation of the film's scene.
<CENTER>JANGO FETT</CENTER>
Out of all the "Jangos" made up to now, by far, this is the best. Although the figure does not offer a removable helmet, revealing Jango's face, it does feature a removable helmet, head and all. The sculpt actually decapitates, recreating the final battle. But it isn't just this feature what sets this figure aside from the previous sculpts of the character. It is, definitely, a super articulated body what does.
Since its first rendition we have been complaining about Jango's lack of articulation and pre-poses. Well, complain no more we will. The bounty hunter is articulated at the head (with the use of a magnet); Its targeting rangefinder pivots, his shoulders, right biceps, both wrists, waist, legs and knees are also articulated. His knees allow the figure to rotate the lower part of his legs 180 degrees as well as back and forward. Such articulation surely gives the sculpt a vast array of poses, something we've always wanted.
The accessories packed with Jango Fett include two removable Westar-34 blasters, a removable Mitrinomon z-6 jetpack and a firing gauntlet with "flame" projectile, which can be inserted on the gauntlet shooter located on the figure's left arm.
It is interesting the fact the packaging of this figure does not reveal Jango's decapitation feature. Only when opening the blister you will be exposed to a rolling head as you pull the figure out.
