Autograph Successes!

Got Andrew Lawden back today... I had sent three times since 2004. I got back all three over a period of two days from two different addresses...

First one I got back was the oldest ones. I had sent index cards and a postcard. The index cards didn't come back; the postcard was inscribed to my hubby (I guess he read the address label) and was stapled to the letter. He didn't use my SASE and shocked to get it because he used inter-country stamps (not for overseas use)

The second set I got back both my letters but the second request he didn't return the custom 3x5 cards I had made. The third I got back with the the 5x7's I sent, but I think one was missing... and they were also stapled (twice) and bent... and inscribed to both me and my son. He used one of my envelopes with postage that time. He did put a note that he'll be a Celebration Europe.

Happy he signed, but wish he'd not have stapled them or inscribed them in that manner. Oh well!

GAHHHH!! Got ANOTHER RTS today from James Arnold Taylor!! Funny story here... I send a request about 2-3 months ago, and in 2 weeks the address comes back RTS. On that same day I got an RTS, someone else sends to him at the same address and gets an autograph back in a few weeks. So... I sent it out AGAIN and I got another RTS! Maybe he just doesn't like me.

Yeah they both came back stamped "Not a client of ICM". Well apparently he is if yours worked okay right after I got the first RTS.

Got a Cool Success from our Mayor today, Michael Sessions! He also happens to be the YOUNGEST Mayor in the USA! I sent him 2 home-made Index cards and a small photo. He signed both of the cards but not the photo. He also sent along a 2nd envelope in the mail with a letter inside thanking me for writing!

Our small city of Hillsdale Michigan had a "Hot Dog Eating Contest" about 2 weeks ago and Michael was able to Woof down 10 FULL-LOADED Dogs before he quit! so in his letter he told me about all the great places in Hillsdale & Los Angeles California that served the BEST Hot Dogs. Thanks so much Michael!

I try not to usually buy autographs unless they're really rare or deceased (or cheap!). I was pretty excited to add these to the collection.
