Starship Troopers was graphic, and I guess Private Ryan was too in a couple of scenes.

However, if you want gory, I dare anyone to see a small movie called Cannibal Holocaust without flinching. Shot in the same documentary style as Blair Witch, but years before it, it's about 4 people trying to observe a rumored cannibal tribe in South America. Of course, when they get there, all hell breaks loose, and the scenes are intense, incredibly graphic, and ultra-realistic. The director was even called to court to prove the film wasn't real. What was real, however, are scenes where the people have to kill and eat wildlife, including a shcking scene involving a large turtle.

I have downloaded this from Kazaa, and believe me, I can take gore, but this pushed me to the edge.

And if you're looking for adult content DJ, there's other stuff on Kazaa that you can get that's just a little more graphic than a Bond film.

I've seen photos from Cannibal Holocast, it's way to realistic for back then, one very common theory is that some scenes are actual corpses, but I don't know if I would go as far as enough to say they killed people... and BTW Nightwing, no not sarcasm, StarShip Troopers is inasnely gory, I can handle gore but I don't know about cannibal holocaust, maybe a year from now or somethin' :stupid1: hmm not sure

one of my fave films: Cronenberg's Dead Ringers. That film is NOT for the Four weddings and a Funeral crowd!

The Criterion Collection DVD is simply amazing

Cronenberg's earlier stuff like Shivers, Rabid, The Brood, and Videodrome were WAYYY better than his later stuff. Dead Ringers I found simply boring, although maybe his film Crash may appeal to DJ's adult tastes
