I received an amazing success today from Alan Rickman! I sent once before to Mr. Rickman and I got the "normal" secretary letter back stating he was busy abroad filming movies such as Sweeney Todd and Bottle Shock, but she would forward the letter, etc. etc. Well, I sent again last July saying it was okay to keep my request as long as need be. I also sent a separate post-it note to his secretary, Melanie Parker, saying what a great job she does handling his fanmail. Today, I received a signed and inscribed 5x7 photo, as well as the $2 return postage I sent back. Thanks SO MUCH, Mr. Rickman and Melanie Parker! I've wanted Alan's autograph forever!!

I received two nice Star Wars successes yesterday - Alan Roderick-Jones, a production designer for ANH, sent me a nice handwritten letter, a signed printout of the "C-3PO Oil Bath Scene" as well as my index cards signed. I didn't send an envelope big enough for the photo, so he used his own envelope and postage. Very generous man!
Next, I tried an untested address for author Dave Wolverton (found it in the white pages) and he signed the four labels I sent him to put in my books. Also sent a nice little note back with it.
Also, I received a signed Playbill from the Phantom of the Opera cast.

Awesome Successes Chewie! 
I Got a very nice success from Actor Don Becker! Most of you probably haven’t heard of him, but if you watched the Super Bowl XLIII (43) commercials you more than likely saw the FREE DORITOS! one with the ‘magic crystal ball’. Well Don played the unsuspecting Boss who got hit by the ‘magic crystal ball’! 
I contacted him via email on February 5th and I told how much I liked that part & if he perhaps had any photos he could send out to fans. he wrote me back later that day and said I was his very FIRST fan, he answered my questions on how that did his scene and also told me he’d be sending me an autographed photo! It arrived today and will make a great addition to my upcoming “FREE DORITOS!” project. Thanks so much Don!

Received a great success today from Comedian Jeff Foxworthy! I sent him an email back on December 26th 2008 and told him how much I enjoy his shows and books. I also mentioned some of my favorite hobbies and that I too would like to get in the Acting and show business.
Jeff sent me a personalized and signed 8x10 photo just as requested! He also included a signed typed note thanking me for writing; telling me about his favorite hobby (Hunting) and wishing me luck with my “Acting Gigs”! Thanks Jeff!

Received a wonderful and surprising success from Actress Sally Field! I sent her a letter, SASE & Four custom index cards back on June 2nd 2008. Today I received them back all personalized and signed! The “Sybil” one was personalized to my Mom as that’s her favorite film. Now I want to believe that these are all Authentic, but I heard reports after I sent my letter that her TTM signatures are secretarial. 
I’d appreciate any thoughts or comments on this. Perhaps someone can post an In-person example to compare these too? Thanks! And thank you too Sally!

YES! I finally got my items back from Will Ferrell Today!! He personalized and signed all my photos and even filled out the Q&A Card I sent him! He is totally awesome for his fans! The address I used is good until March 15th, so if you want to send a request do it quick! He doesn’t have a regular fan mail address so Via Venue is the only way you can get him!

Today I received my two trading cards back signed from NASCAR driver Casey Mears.
I also received a signed playbill from the cast of Speed-the-Plow, signed by William H. Macy, Norbert Leo Butz, Raúl Esparaza, Elisabeth Moss, Jordan Lase, and Eloise Mumford. Quite surprised to see that I got one signed by both Macy AND Butz, as Butz left the cast back in early January! Nice success.

I received a nice success today from Aaron Eckhart, recently of The Dark Knight fame for playing Harvey Dent. He sent me a signed and inscribed 8x10 photo after about 3 months.
Also I got a surprising SECOND success from Jennette McCurdy who stars on the Nickelodeon TV show iCarly. I sent to her last summer and received a signed photo back along with my questionnaire filled out, and now today I randomly got an envelope with another signed photo and a sticky note telling me to check out her CD single "So Close" on iTunes, Amazon, etc. March 10th. VERY SURPRISING SUCCESS, but I'm not complaining! Thanks Jennette!!
