"Star Wars" cartoon a misfire

    Wow, pretty much an 'it sucked big time' from that reviewer....

    I think I'll judge for myself next week.

    That one phrase basically sums up the reviewer as an idiot. :rolleyes:

    The film reviewer on TV3's News here in New Zealand wasn't hugely impressed, and she calls herself a big Star Wars fan (Original Trilogy, not so much the Prequels), and even went to the ranch in America to interview George Lucas on last night's News. The clip is available somewhere on the TV3 website for those with fast connections who are really interested (try here and here).

    The problem, as with the Prequels, is that "Star Wars" is for kids (even more so this animated show) and too many people who have since grown up, supposedly, rather stupidly expect the movies to have somehow "grown up" as well.

    Its set around the same time as KOTOR I think. The Star Wars universe is technologically stagnant. Meaning that tech during the KOTOR era is no less advanced than Galactic civil war era.
