That'll be because babies are far more flexible than us oldies, so they find it extremely easy to roll over like that - there's also much less weight to shift around. 
Maybe Darth Boru finds it "strangely hypnotic" because he's getting "clucky" ... perhaps we'll be hearing the patter of tiny Boru feet soon.
