LucasArts announced that it is bringing Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, the 3rd-person massively multiplayer online RPG, to Europe on October 31st. This follows on on the heels of a successful US launch that has gathered over 275,000 subscribers so far since its June launch. Simon Jeffery, president of LucasArts, noted, "Almost immediately we were seeing thousands of players interacting simultaneously, building communities and creating in-game events like player weddings, store openings and many other inventive activities."

Galaxies will head to the UK and northern Europe in October, with Germany, Spain, Frace and Italy getting their launches on Novemeber 7th.
