Dark Lord of the Typos
Found this on our recent road trip as well. It is an Episode I promotional poster from 1999. Apparently it was a premium at K-Mart stores, and was free with a Pepsi or Lays purchase. It measures 11 x 17, and is number 3 in a series of 4 posters. The other posters featured Anakin, Queen Amidala, and Jar Jar Binks.
It's hard to believe that Episode I debuted 14 years ago, and that I can walk into antique stores and find piles of Episode I swag. The sheer amount of merchandising and tie-ins for that movie alone was overwhelming. I'm still suprised I can come across items like this that I was not aware of before.
