Dark Lord of the Typos
Here's a quick look back at the Deluxe enameled pins available at Celebration VI. These pins were quite large (2.5-3 inches) and featured two layers of enameled surfaces, with colorful character artwork reflecting the Celebration "party" theme.
Pictured here is the Princess Leia and Clone Trooper pin. The other three pins included Chewbacca and Yoda, Darth Vader and C-3PO, and R2-D2 and a Jawa.
These pins were limited to only 200 of each, and retailed for $40.00. They came in an attractive black jewelry box with a foil CVI logo on the lid. Depite the high price, these pins will likely maintain or appreciate in value, thanks to the limited quantity and high number of pin collectors in Florida. It is not uncommon to pay high prices for large pins at the Disney parks, and for those who specialize in pin collecting, these make for an attractive addition to a collection.
