Collectible of the Day
Today’s collectible is the plush Jawa from Tomy, originally available in Japan. This the last of the three plush toys produced by Tomy around the time of Attack of the Clones. This Jawa is pretty awesome, and is one of my favorite Star Wars plushes. It comes with a bandolier, attached ion blaster, and plastic yellow eyes. The hood can be pushed back, to reveal an all-black fabric head. There are a handful of other Jawa plush toys out there, the rarest being a similar looking vintage plush by Regal, available in Canada. There is also a plush buddy by Kenner, produced in the 1990s, a tiny Burger King plush premium produced for Revenge of the Sith, and a recent super-deformed plush by Comic Images.
