Astromechs or Androids

Pretty similar thread to Sword Stalkers.

Would you rather have an astromech or an android. Your choice would be fresh off the production line and nobody famous.

Astromech: R2-D2 shaped or more like R5-D4?

Android: C-3PO, Death Star Droid, 2-1B, EV-9D9, IG-88 design or another?

Since I couldn't have R2 in this case I'd choose an android. An astromech would do me no good other than to plug him into my DVD player and set the clock.

I'd take a C-3PO type android with a titanium finish and a male voice.

I'd go for the astromech.

It'd be great to have the little blighter whizzing around giving attitude to all the unwanted doorbell ringers.

Plus, its always handy to have your dvd clock right!

I'd have a titanium purple with subtle crimson undertones droid with gold trim shaped like the death star droid with the voice of James Earl Jones.

I'd take him to Iraq where he could be the now governor... do you think anyone's gonna cross a droid that looks that cool with James Earl Jone's voice?

edit: did I make mention of a desroyer?
