Mr. Stiff is a basketball player for the Melbourne Tigers. He was cast, along with other large players, to portray Wookiees in Revenge of the Sith. David Stiff played a number of generic Wookiees that were later digitally pasted together to make an army of angry Wookiees. According to the official Star Wars site, David played the Wookiee Salporin, who fought at the Battle of Kachirho as seen in ROTS. This character would later go on to have a role in Timothy Zahn’s 1991 book Heir to the Empire. For more check out the Official page: http://www.starwars.com/databank/character/salporin/index.html

I noticed that the ROTS Sneak preview Wookiee Warrior and Salporin look a lot alike:

Could this mean that the SP Wookiee Warrior is actually Salporin?

It's possible. Although if you took a Tarfful and a Sp Wookiee and combined them..you'd get Merumeru. There were only about 6 Wookiee Warriors....they were all digitally combined create an army...so to some extent...they should all share certain characteristics in armor and appearance. Either....if you got a figure signed...you couldn't go wrong. :)
