Got a Failure from Dave Prowse yesterday :( I sent Dave a letter, SAE, $5.00, Five 4x6 photos. I received my SAE back today along with my letter and photos UNSIGNED. A note was enclosed saying that Dave now charges for EVERY photo he autographs. I sent the $5.00 dollars as a donation but I quess it wasn't enough for him. Thanks anyway Mr. Prowse. I used the P.O. Box 1181 address.

Oh man! I'm so sorry Chan! I hate it when scalpers take advantage of nice people who are willing to sign for free and then cause the actor/actress to stop signing all together when they find out the scalpers are selling the photos just to make a quick buck :( Maybe you'll be able to meet him in-person someday. Do you happen have a Barry Roberston Auto at all? or should I be on the lookout for one if someone getting rid of theirs?

Well I’m pretty bummed right now. I got a rejection notice from Frank Langella! :( I sent him a 2nd request asking if he could please sign the enclosed Index Card that I thought he forgot to sign when I sent my first request. Well I guess he didn’t forget to sign it because this note was written on the back of my letter:

Mr. Littley,

Sorry! Mr. Langella does not sign more than one request for an autograph per fan.

I even explained in my 1st & 2nd letter that this second autograph was not for ME. It was going to be for my Uncle who’s a HUGE Superman fan and is in the NAVY. I was going to surprise him with it when he returned home, along with the other Superman Returns autographs I’ve collected for him. Dang! I’m so mad! :mad: :mad: :mad: The index card wasn’t even returned either!! :eek: :( :mad:

One idea I have that you could do is send another request to him with the return address being a different one than your address, but where you could easily pick it up such as a friend's house or a relative's. Then change your last name on the envelope to whatever their last name is and ask to have them sign it for your uncle.

That way they wouldn't have any idea that you are technically asking for a second autograph. Hope that helps. :)

Yeah I think I might do that. :D Thanks for the info! If I'd know that he only signed one autograph per fan I would have used your tip on my second attempt ;)
