The Next Three Star Wars Films Get Release Dates
With the release of The Rise Of Skywalker coming this December, many Star Wars fans have been speculating on what the future of Star Wars will be on the big screen. We know The Mandalorian is coming this November, and Clone Wars Season 7, a Cassian Andor series, and Resistance Season 2 are all slated to air in the next year or two.
Kathleen Kennedy has stated the films will be going on a hiatus, and now we know just how long that hiatus will be.
Disney announced their slate for the next 7 years, and that includes 3 Star Wars films, starting in 2022:
12/16/22 UNTITLED STAR WARS
12/20/24 UNTITLED STAR WARS
12/18/26 UNTITLED STAR WARS
Those were the only Star Wars projects listed on the slate, and there is no word on whether they will be from Rian Johnson, or Dan and Dave from Game of Thrones.
For the first time since the movies returned in 2015, there will be a three year gap between Star Wars films. More on this as details emerge.
