Gerald Home spent his youth in Ireland and Australia, before moving to London to attend drama school. Mr. Home currently performs on stage, and makes occasional television appearances. However, he began his screen career as a mime-artist on Return of the Jedi. Mr. Home portrayed Tessek, the squid-faced Quarren in Jabba’s palace. He also played a Mon Cal Officer during the Battle of Endor. Coincidentally, both species originate from the planet Mon Calimari. As a side note, according to IMDB, Mr. Home speaks English, French, German and Spanish. :p

You can check out Mr. Home’s IMDB filmography here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0392935/

I met Mr. Home at Celebration III and he was very pleasant in person. The above picture is of him eating a Wookiee Cookie, presented to him by Alf and Wookiee Cookiee. :D He seems willing to sign items sent to him through the mail, so long as return postage is provided. However, due to an agreement with Lucasfilm, Mr. Home will only sign licensed photos. That means Official Pix, trading cards, or some other officially produced item. Most people receive responses under a month, sometimes only a week’s time!

I am the fool who follows
See? This is what I get for not double checking TBS!

Mr. Home sent me a great full page handwritten note responding to my letter, which he signed. He sent me a flier on him, which he personalized and signed.

AND...he told me he can only sign officially licensed photos.

DOH! Guess it's off to Officialpix for me!

Nice guy - he didn't NEED to write me a full 8x10 page note - but I appreciate that he did.

Retrying soon!

I got success from Gerald Home today. He signed 3 trading cards & 1 ccg card.He also mentioned that the Mon Calamari officer he played called Captain Verrack and only will sign this one:)

Gerald Home pics. The Mon Calamari officer ccg card is the exactly one he played.Sitting behind Admiral Ackbar.I sent the wrong one,so he didn't sign and returned it to me:cool:

this is certainly the most interesting response i have gotten. considering the responses that i have gotten up to this point, i am amazed and grateful for the time and attention that he gave.

I'll start with the envelope. i typically send a 6x9" return envelope with my address in the "TO:" & "FROM:" locations. i also place a label on the front that reads "PHOTO Please do not bend". He removed my "FROM:" address and replaced it with his. He also used a yellow highlighter to highlight the "PHOTO Please do not bend" label and underlined that with a red marker. he then wrote "Photos" in red marker on the front of the envelope, circling and underlining that. He then folded the envelop so that it fit the 4x6" photo that was inside and then taped almost the entire thing with clear box tape. i had quite a time just getting inside it. Mr. Home, if you ever read this, thanks for doing everything you could to help protect my photos, it worked.

Next he wrote me a long letter, which probably would have been longer if he had not run out of room. He thanked me for my letter and explain that i had sent it to an old agent and asked me to pass along a new address. this new address is the same address that Bounty CK posted above, but i'll post it again at the end of this post. He then goes onto tell me about a different widevision card that he appears on (number 86). The image on the back of the card is consistant with what Bounty CK posted but i'm guessing that might be him on the front as well. At some point, i'll send that one over to him. He then went on to suggest visiting this site http://www.paulrowley.com/ which has a ton of signed trading cards. or click here to go directly to the cards. He then directs me to his site http://geraldhome.dr-maul.com/ . he then suggest checking out "Oola Christmas" at youtube.com and finally he suggests searching youtube.com for mr muscle original advert to see the 6 comercials that he did.

anyway, quite a response

Got a tremendous Success from Gerald Home today! He signed all 7 items that I sent him (three 4x6 photos & 4 custom made Index cards). He also sent me a LONG letter thanking me for writing. He also explained that he can only sign Officially-licensed photos of Tessek, But made an exception since I was a legitimate collector and don't Sell them. He also wanted to know why
I didn't send any photos of the Calamari Officer he played, Well Mr. Home, I wasn't sure which one was you and I didn't want to send a photo of the wrong one!

He sent me a link that I will post at the bottom. Gerald also mentioned that he has checked out The Bothan Spy forums and really enjoys it! He wished everybody the best of luck with their collecting! I used the Second Skin Agency address in the Wattographs Database. Thank you Mr. Home!!

Awesome Success!

Mr. Home signed all CCGs I sent to him and included a handwritten letter.

This is one of the best replies I've gotten so far. Mr. Home is really great with his fans!

Thank you so much, Mr. Home
