Sandtrooper Invasion

It is rumor no more – Gentle Giant is proud to announce the Sandtrooper mini bust. It gets even better; Gentle Giant will be releasing 3 different Sandtroopers in 2005. The first of the three will be an exclusive to Star Wars Celebration III this April in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Sandtrooper Corporal comes with a black pauldron that denotes rank. The edition size for the Sandtrooper Corporal mini bust has been set at 2500 pieces. During Celebration III the quantity of Sandtrooper mini busts for purchase will be allocated on a per day basis.

The next two Sandtrooper mini busts will be released later in the fall. First they have the Sandtrooper Sergeant. This trooper comes with a white pauldron and holding a lost droid part from the memorable “Look Sir, Droids” scene from A New Hope. And released at the same time, will be the Sandtrooper Squad Leader, which is shown with an orange pauldron and a T-21 light repeating blaster. Both of these mini busts will come with interchangeable arms and small blaster to pose as you see fit.

Also look for a Han Solo Mini Bust to follow.

I'm not surprised that there's a Han bust after the Han Stormtrooper bust. What DOES surprise me, is that there still is no sign of a Chewie bust.

In other GG news, they say that there are plans for an Episode III Vader and a Biker Scout on his bike
