In this blockbuster exhibition, encounter the fantasy technologies depicted in the Star Wars films, investigate the real science behind them, and the current research that may someday lead to remarkable real-life versions of the technologies seen in the film series. And see more than 80 props, models and costumes from the films!

Themes and Highlights
“Getting Around” After examining Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder and other floating vehicles from
Star Wars, find out how things move without touching the ground in the real world, from models of flying cars to commercial spaceplanes.

“Robots and People” Meet C-3PO and R2-D2 and explore how people relate to the Droids in Star Wars. Discover the creation of real world robots that navigate, sense and understand the world around them, while communicating in increasingly sophisticated ways.
Star Wars:® Where Science Meets Imagination also features more than 80 Star Wars artifacts and real world technologies, numerous video interviews of Lucasfilm filmmakers along with scientists and engineers, and interactive exhibits. Artifacts displayed include:

Dark Lord of the Typos
We got to attend this when it was in Fort Worth, and then later in Lafayette, LA. Very cool exhibit...and the Falcon cockpit is worth checking out too. Not every location gets the Falcon due to the space it takes up.
