Reply with any that you've attended. If it's a convention or event I haven't already listed, please provide a link to the convention's homepage. Thanks. :)

Oh..I did go to Aggie Con in 2002 (http://aggiecon.tamu.edu/). It wasn't truly a SW con.....more of a gaming one (RPG & CCG). However, most of the non-comics dealers were selling vintage and modern SW swag. Plus a couple 501st members showed up to pull volunteer duty during the charity auction with Neil Gaiman.

Not sure if that would qualify or not. :p

What I've done so far is add a list of "personal awards" in addition to any arcade awards you might have. So, if you have any arcade awards or personal awards, you'll get a little trophy next to your name. When you click on your name, it will activate the dropdown (which includes all your awards). If you click on one of the personal awards, it will take you to that person's profile page with more detail.

If anyone has any suggestions for a better way to present this, I'll consider them. I'm trying to avoid adding more stuff to the postbit (the space around the avatar).

Normally I would make fun of Texas A&M and then make fun of you, but I've decided to just give you the award. ;)

vfermi was at CII with me. At least, the guy I shared a room with told me he was Vaughn. ;)

Dunno if Memorabilia and Collectormania count? They're not specifically Star Wars events, but there are always a significant number of SW guests doing autographs and an awful lot of the dealers specialise in SW merchandise. Far as I remember the 501st turn up every time too.

Those guys crack me up. 2 of them were outside the main door and one said "Here comes the boss - gather the troops". Next thing I know there's an honour guard of about 12 stormtroopers at the main door, snapping to attention as a kid no more than 5 yrs old in a Vader outfit comes through.

Last Stormie at the door jumps out in front of the kid and shouts :-

"HALT!! Got any sweets??" pointing his blaster at the kid. Poor kid almost filled his boots I think :D

Anyway, quick as anything, the stormie shouts :-

"NO?? No sweets?? You cant come in without sweets!! ........here's some sweets, enjoy your day!"

Cracked me up, and a good crowd who saw it. The kids parents thought it was the best thing ever and the kid was thrilled with the honour guard and the sweets. Pity I didn't have acamcorder handy.

Anyway, I've been to memorabilia in Birmingham 5 times, in Glasgow twice and Collectormania Milton Keynes once.

PS. If the above story made no sense, substitute the word 'candy' for 'sweets' and read it again ;)

If you can give me a link to a site where I can grab images for the award, I'll add it.

I'm pretty much looking for any "official" gathering of people that you attended in which the main point of you being there was Star Wars. By official, I mean something that's open to the public and might involve celebrity guests or collectible dealers.

How recent? I was at Wizard World Chicago 2 years ago. Didn't make it last year.
If you go once, it counts. The only event that I'm keeping track of multiple times are the celebrations.

I've changed up the trophy icon a little bit so that it's a little more subdued and isn't bumped by users with longer names.

I considered adding something to indicate someone with only arcade awards, someone with only convention awards, or someone with both, but opted not to. If I get some feedback to support this idea, I may yet go ahead with it (suggestions welcome).
