LucasArts announced that it has, after much anticipation and perhaps the slightest bit of overheard whining, added vehicles to its popular MMORPG, Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided. Players can grab the keys to one of three spiffy new rides. Here are official descriptions:

X-34 Landspeeder: Although the slowest of the three vehicles, the landspeeder can tackle any type of terrain without slowing down. It's perfect for exploring Tatooine's Dune Sea or the hills of Naboo. Players will fondly remember the X-34 Landspeeder as Luke Skywalker's ride of choice.

Swoop Bike: The fastest vehicle in the new fleet, the swoop is designed for high-performance racing. You'll need a bug shield and a good mechanic with this vehicle.

Speeder Bike: Recognizable as the vehicles used by Imperial scout troopers, speeder bikes are the mid-range speed choice between landspeeder and the faster swoops. The speeder bike's narrow frame also allows it to slip through trees and easily dodge other hazards.

While none of them are the Millenium Falcon, they sure beat running.
