The latest issue of the local TV Guide has an article about things that are named after celebrities, including this section with Harrison Ford ...

She [Angelina Jolie] also has a spider named after her - Aptostichus angelinajoleae - as does David Bowie (Heteropoda davidbowie), Harrison Ford (Calponia harrisonfordi) and Nelson Mandela (Stasimopus mandelai).

Ford also has an ant named after him. Called Pheidole harrisonfordi, it is in honour of the actor's conservation work. He is vice-chairman of Conservation International and a well-known nature freak. He calls the battle for conservation "a war without an evil enemy" and believes it can be won.

Other celebritiy namesakes from the article:
  • Cheryl Cole - voted number one female celebrity people want to name their dogs after
  • Ozzy Osbourne - voted number one male celebrity people want to name their dogs after, and a university prize (the Ozzy Osbourne Development Award for the student who has made the most progress on the BA Media and Communications degree at the University of Birmingham)
  • JK Rowling - has an asteroid officially named Asteroid Rowling by the International Astronmical Union after being suggested by Harry Potter fan Dr Mark Hammergren who discovered it
  • Katie Price / Jordan - has a camel named after her in Blackpool, Lancashire because of the animal's famous assets
  • Ian Fleming - has the Ian Fleming International Airport in Jamaica where he wrote all 14 books
  • John Lennon - has the Liverpool John Lennon Airport
  • Angelina Jolie - has the Angelina Jolie Hindu Temple in Cambodia where she filmed the Lara Croft movie, and the spider mentioned above
  • Harrison Ford - the spider and the ant mentioned above
  • David Bowie and Nelson Mandela - both have the spiders mentioned above
  • John Cleese - a lemur named Avahi cleesi and part of a landfill in Palmerston North called Mt Cleese
  • Justin Bieber - a contest to name a second beaver of a re-found species in Bronx River, New York after being missing for 200 years - it's named "Justin Beaver"
  • Salma Hayek and Keira Knightley - both have a hot dog named after tham in a Chicago restaurant
I've also heard of a restaurant in Los Angeles (I think, probably in Hollywood) that has various dishes named after celebrities.
