This month saw the eagerly-anticipated release of George Lucas’s seminal sci-fi films on Blu-ray (have you got your copy yet?). To celebrate this historic occasion, we've assembled a gallery of the best - and quirkiest - Star Wars merch to hit stores in recent memory. Like Star Wars? Like fish? Then you can't go wrong with this R2-D2 Aquarium. The droid's central compartment can hold around 7 litres of water and the fishies of your choice. Other goodies include a built-in periscope, motorised head and a full compliment of beeping noises. Presumably you could also use it as a beer vat at stupendously geeky parties.

Sure you could go for the 7965 piece Lego Millennium Falcon kit, but any real fan would accept nothing less then this gargantuan offering which packs in a whopping 10,179 pieces with which to create your masterpiece. So what if you have to sell your car to buy it? It’s a space ship for crying out loud.
