You're probalby right. Although if we *were* to talk about Star Trek. This *would* be the right forum for it (General Discussion).

AS long as we don't get some smart @$$ going off about how Star Trek has better science than Star Wars (or some such thread), I have no problem with talking about Trek. I got tired of those. SW is fantasy and I doubt Lucas ever put any thought into trying to explain the science. So for any of you Trekkies that are thinking about trying to start such threads, don't.
:smack:
I my self, am a little borred with Trek right now. I think they need to give it a rest for a little while. It seems like they are running out of ideas. If they took ten or twenty years off form it, maybe that will give them time to really work up something new. It seemed like Trek built most of its populartiy when there was no new shows beign made.

Trek is OK, but...

I got bored by the last season of Voyager. I used to watch it all the time, and enjoyed it, but it got a little stale. It didn't help that DirecTV didn't have any UPN affiliates at that time, and every week I would have to hook up the rabbit ears and get a really crappy, fuzzy picture :D

I've watched the first 2 episodes of Enterprise, and it's pretty good so far. It's kind of neat seeing how things started - the primitive technology, the problems, the stumbling first steps meeting new life and new civilizations (to coin a phrase).

My wife and I decided to let our children watch it - kind of a family-togetherness type thing. They think it's pretty good, too. The see the spaceships and all the flash and dazzle, and I hope they don't notice the lubricated Vulcan
:D

Vulcan...

Well being somewhat of a "trekker" I'll drop my opinion here.

Classic Trek, tho starting it all sucked
The Even number movies rock!
The Odd number movies suck!
Next Generation was pretty good (except for Wesley)
ST: Generation sucked except that Kirk's dead! Yeah!
ST: First contact rocked
ST: Insurrection made me cry
Deep Space Nine sucked until Worf and the Dominion War
(But the finale still sucked!)
Voyager sucked from season one to season nine
Enterprise's theme sucks

Oh yeah, and the Vulcan chick is really a Romulan.

Why? She referred to herself as "Subcommander", not a vulcan rank.

Re: Vulcan...

The Vulcans used the same Rank as the Romulans at one point.

yeah right

Sure they did!

Romulans and Vulcans split thousands of years ago.

Vulcans have no standing military.

I just wish I could get Trek in my area. They quit broadcasting here the last season of Deep Space Nine. So I didn't get to see that or Voyager's last season and now I've missed the new episodes of Enterprise. What Network carries this anyway? Anybody got the first 2 episodes of Enterprise on VHS?

I believe that Enterprise is *supposed* to be on at 7 o'clock, Wednesdays on the UPN channel. I don't get UPN in my area, but they broadcast Enterprise at 9:00 CST (not at 7:00 CST  ) on FOX. You might have to look on a different channel and at a different time than where you would expect it to be.

If I were you, I would find the website for the local newspaper and see if they have something on there for tv listings. If so, you can perform a search and see if you can find it that way.

Maybe your area just doesn't get it... :(

Hope that helps
