Postage question (UK->USA and back)

I was wondering, as I have yet to send for any autographs outside the UK and I’m considerably new to this compared to a lot of people here, how I would go about it?
I want to send a few (2-3) pics, a letter and my return envelope (just over 6" x 8") in an envelope (just over 6" x 8") to America.
Does anybody know what stamps I should use on:
1. The envelope from UK to USA
2. The return envelope? or should I include money?
Any help would be great as I don't even know where to start

Regarding what stamps to use, it's always going to be from the country that the letter is being sent from. As far as how much postage costs, weigh your loaded letter, convert that weight to ounces, and then figure out the postage here.
