Nexu's Variations. Not just its tail
Here we go again ... another week, another variation. This one deals with the recently released Deluxe Nexu Arena beast. Very little time took for Hasbro to make some very noticeable changes to the Nexu and its card.
For starters, the blister's tray has been totally redesigned accommodating the beast in a completely new pose, that's a first sight observation, BUT under close inspection four more new changes have taken place, dealing with this cat and its plastic cage as well. The changes were made to:
1- Stripes on its head : First version has very light brown stripes on the beast's head. Second version presents dark brown stripes on its head and legs also.
2- Opening on the blister: The "Try me" opening on the blister was first located towards the bottom left corner of the blister. It was placed like so to allow for easy access to the small button which activates the attack sounds. After giving the beast a complete new pose for its second version, the opening has been moved up and has been placed in the center of the blister, where the attack sounds button is now located
3- Inner tray: First version included, behind the blister's tray, a second tray which supported the Nexu's right legs. This tray is not present on the second version.
4- Tail: An upwardly positioned and light colored tail was given to the Nexu's first version. The Nexu's second version has a darker color tail which has been positioned bent at its tip, towards the front of the blister.
