The Action Figure Times has a breaking story about a new Star Wars License that will be announced at the San Diego Comic Con later this month. Sideshow Toy will be announcing their new Star Wars line at the show!! For those of you unfamilar with Sideshow, let me just say they make some of the most incredible Lord of the Rings Statues you will EVER see, along with some of the most detailed 12" figures as well.
So, what does this mean to us as collectors? We'll have to wait until SDCC to find out. But I'd love to see Sideshow take over the 12" figure line from Hasbro, and come out with a line of statues like their LOTR ones. Let the speculation begin!
