This April brings comic readers a closer look at Jango Fett, the bounty hunter set to take the galaxy by storm in Episode II. Here's a look at the cover art of two issues of Jango Fett: Open Seasons, with art by Ramon F. Bachs.

The series, which explores the early days of Jango Fett among the Mandalorian warriors, is written by Haden Blackman and features interior art by Ramon F. Bachs and Raul Fernandez. Issue #1 is scheduled for release on April 24. Issue #3, with a tantalizing glimpse of the powerful Jedi, Dooku, on the cover, is due out in June.

In Star Wars #44, the penultimate chapter of the four-part Rite of Passage story arc, Jedi Master Tholme has been captured by the dreaded Morgukai assassins. His would-be rescuers -- Quinlan Vos and Aayla Secura -- have been shot down and stranded in the endless deserts of the Nikto homeworld of Kintan. Now, the two Jedi must survive the harsh elements before facing the real challenge -- the deadly Morgukai.

Star Wars #44 is by John Ostrander, Jan Duursema, Ray Kryssing and Dave McCaig, with cover art by Duursema and McCaig. It is scheduled for release on July 17.

Quinlan Vos faces the challenge of dark temptation as he struggles to rebuild his shattered past and face a mysterious foe on a dangerous prison planet. The four-part story arc Darkness is compiled into trade paperback format, by John Ostrander, Jan Duursema, Ray Kryssing, with cover art by Andrew Robinson. It is scheduled for release on August 7.
