Dark Lord of the Typos
So I've recently acquired 2 sets of clone trooper armor.
I picked up a box of random clone armor parts from a guy who was moving and cleaning out his junk pile. Some of the parts are innaccurate...all are pieced together from various kits. However, it is essentially a complete set of armor....sans helmet. Well, there are helmet pieces....they were used in his first attempt to make a baseball trooper helmet. While some of these parts are pretty rough, I hope to eventually make them into a Senate Commando costume, as seen in several episodes of the Clone Wars cartoon.
Then, a friend of mine decided to move back to Houston and needed to sell his armor kit he was working on to cover his expenses. He sold it to me at a substantial discount, and that's not even factoring in all the labor he has put into the kit already. This set is a really nice set and would be grewat for actually turning into a clone. So, I now have two projects to look forward to working on.
