The second installment of 'Star Wars' is the most anticipated movie of the summer, just edging out the comic-book-turned-live-action 'Spider-Man,'

The Force is definitely still with 'Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Clones' which earned 3,672 votes, or 56.1 percent, of all the votes cast in the poll while 'Spider-Man' netted 3,573, or 54.5 of all votes cast, in a close second place.

Hayden Christiansen will take on the role of Anakin Skywalker, Luke's father, and the Jedi Knight who becomes Darth Vader, while Tobey Maguire stars as the anti-hero Peter Parker who becomes 'Spider-Man' in this long anticipated Marvel Comics movie.

Rounding out the top five most-anticipated films of the summer are two sequels and one cartoon-turned-live-action-film: 'Men in Black 2' (19.3 percent of the vote), 'Austin Powers III' (15.7 percent) and the Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. flick 'Scooby-Doo' (9.6 percent).

A total of 6,546 votes were cast the poll on Zap2it and users could pick their first, second and third choices with the results weighted by the order in which the films were chosen.
