Do I take the plunge?

I'm so thinking about collecting loose vintage since my modern collection is almost wrapped up. I just don't know. I don't have too much knowledge about values etc. Advice?

Most of them are not too bad - you can get the majority loose on ebay for only a couple of bucks each. However, you make up for it when you aim for POTF, Blue Snaggletooth, wind up R2, plastic cape Jawa, and of course the granddaddy of em all - Vlix.

By the way, I need a Vlix. Anybody have a spare you could trade me?
