Carrie Fisher: The DCC is proud to once again host this superstar actress. Best known as Star Wars Saga Princess Leia, Ms .Fisher has starred in tons of films and hosts the TV series "Conversations From The Edge". Ms. Fisher is appearing both Saturday and Sunday.

Steve Sansweet : Lucasfilm Director of Fan Relations / Content Management. Steve will give Star Wars fans a glimpse into the future of Star Wars on TV and beyond. Steve will also participate in a charity fundraiser "Star Wars Road Show" where you can bring your Star Wars treasure to the show for an appraisal. A $1 donation is requested per item to be given to the Plano Food Bank. Details at the show. Steve is appearing both Saturday and Sunday.

Star Wars Road Show: The Dallas Comic Con is proud to present Steve Sansweet's Star Wars Road Show Sunday 1pm. Bring a Star Wars treasure from your attic, closet, or display shelf and Steve (the world's upmost authority on all Star Wars collectibles) will appraise it for you. Are you sitting on a gold mine, do you have a super rare collectible? Find out from Steve Sunday at 1pm. We will be collecting a $1 donation to give to the local Plano food bank for each appraisal. More details at the show. Admission into the show not included with appraisal. The DCC reserves the rights to limit the number of items per person.


Gaming: The DCC in conjunction with Comic Book Craze in Garland, TX will host demos and tournys for Star Wars Miniatures, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, and more. Great prizes. Admission into the show is not included in tournament fees.

the lines at the dallas shows have never been really bad. they use a system that does not allow everyone to get in at the same time. this means that not everyone may get to whatever they are trying to get to. there are different levels of tickets you can buy to get in and the general admission ticket holder could miss out but they paid less to get in. i use the speed pass method, which costs more but not as much as the vip pass. the speed pass holders get a wrist band with a number on it (1,2,3,4), group 1 is allowed in to certain areas at certain times, then group 2 and so on. or group 1 is allowed to get in line before group 2. this system seems to work pretty well. if you are in group 3 and they are doing group 1, then you know not to waste your time at that area and you can go do something else. i had read that they were going to use this system at C3, specifically with the gift store, but the only place i saw it used was in the autograph room with the bigger named guests. perhaps at c4
