Dark Lord of the Typos
This is one of the more interesting R2-D2 items I've seen in a while. Standing about 7 inches tall, it has a coin slot in the top, and the dome is removeable to access the contents. It was made by the Tin Box Co. for Old Navy. The R2-D2 bank, along with a Darth Vader bank, were available around Christmas time for $5.50 each. You may still be able to find some at your local store. While you are there, Old Navy had a wide selection of Star Wars shirts for all ages, including some great retro designs and new Star Wars Angry Birds styles.
