Collectible of the Day 116 - Pop-Up Yoda Birthday Card

Today we have a very cool Hallmark birthday card. This one features Yoda levitating a birthday cake. The cake is the pop-up feature, and as you open the card it rises up from the ground into the air.

This card is currently available at Hallmark stores and other retailers that carry Hallmark cards. There is a similar talking card that has the same sentiment, but no pop-up feature.

Now, if only it had a feature where Yoda cut the cake by throwing his lightsaber at it and bisecting it.

Not a pop-up card, but earlier this year I did get this sound FX card.

Made by Hallmark Interactive, it has a small electronic board and battery inside, so when you open the card it plays the Star Wars theme tune. I "borrowed" the image above from a website, but the inside of the card has a few Vader images and the words "Prepare to be celebrated! Happy Birthday".

In the shops I have seen a similar Yoda sound FX card as well. Both priced about US$7.75.

Very cool. I haven't seen that one before, but we do have other sound cards.
