Collectible of the Day 107 - Lego Watches

Today we'll take a quick look at Lego watches. Lego introduced these a few years ago, and they have had a lasting popularity. Each set comes with an dial watch with interchangeable band pieces in varying colors. They also come with a Lego mini-figure, that otherwise could only be obtained by purchasing a larger Lego construction set containing the same character.

Lego has slowly introduced new watches to the line-up. So far, there have been 10 different watches released. The line-up includes:

Boba Fett
C-3PO
Clone Trooper
Darth Maul
Darth Vader
Luke Skywalker (Jedi)
Obi-Wan Kenobi
R2-D2
Stormtrooper
Yoda

Boba Fett and Yoda are the newest releases, hitting shelves for the first time this year.

The Darth Vader and Stormtrooper versions of these arrived in one chain of shops down here in New Zealand only a week or so ago ... expensive though, like all Lego.
