I just opened my Space Ani, Ahsoka, and Cad Bane figures. Inside is the
mail in form for the Eopie and Qui-Gon set. All you need is the form, 5
UPCs from any Clone Wars, Build A Droid, or Saga Legends figure, and a check for $6.99. I already have everything I need to send out a couple requests.
But...more importantly, underneath the redemption request was....Clone
Cash! Now, maybe I just don't keep up with the news....but this is the
best thing since blue milk! Clone Cash is a coupon....more
specifically, a coupon for $5 off ANY Hasbro Star Wars toy purchase of
$20 or more. One per purchase. Expires 4/1/10. So each of the
figures I paid $5 for essentially comes with a $5 coupon! Better yet,
you can see the coupon from outside the card. Look in the side of the
bubble...and you will see the standard red Cross-Sell catalog. Beneath
that is the black and white redemption form. And beneath that is a
folded up Clone Cash coupon (unfolded it's the size of a dollar bill).
On either end are small #5's, not unlike on real money. You can clearly
see the 5s from either the left or right side of the bubble....with no
effort...or maybe some gentle tapping..as the cash is bigger than the other inserts.
So...it looks like the remainder of this years purchases will be made one
vehicle/evolutions/battle pack at a time. Not to mention, combined with
my employee discount and an upcoming 10% Target Card discount, I should
be able to save big.
I'll have to see later this weekend if these are packed with all figures in the latest wave, or just random.
