It says below (when replying) that attached images need to be 573400 bytes or less in filesize. That's about 560K, but I'm not sure that right since I've tried posting big images and they didn't work properly.

You have the requirements right. If you can't upload an image that you think you should be able to, send it to me and I'll take a look at it.
I have to keep limits on the size of uploaded images (for obvious reasons), but I think you should have enough to get reasonable pictures uploaded. Also, remember that you can display pictures hosted on other servers here by using the IMG tag.

Thanks, but I've figured out the problem - there's also a limit of 1024x1024(?) pixels, although it doesn't tell you that until AFTER you've tried to upload the image. I had to split the Death Star Day Care image into two parts because it was taller than 1024pixels.
