Ridley Scott's forthcoming Crusades epic Kingdom of Heaven, Liam Neeson has been cast in an unspecified role opposite star Orlando Bloom. Neeson is no stranger to period epics having appeared in such sword-wielding flicks as Excalibur and Rob Roy. He also starred as Jedi knight Qui-Gon Jinn in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. Neeson can currently be seen in Love Actually.
