Fantastic Films was a Sci-Fi and Fantasy magazine that ran from 1978 to 1985. Released by Blake Publishing, the magazine focused on news and articles about the latest Sci-Fi films, but also included retrospectives on classics from the 50s and 60s. It ran for 46 issues, and not surprisingly, nearly a third of the covers feature Star Wars in some form or another.

Issue #21, seen above, is one of a pair of great covers that had newspaper headline inspired layouts. This one touts, "Asteroid Worm Captured" while issue #22 features "Clone Wars Explained." These magazine are filled with great images and articles, and are relatively inexpensive to collect.
