Submitted my 501st application

Well, I submitted my application today.

Many thanks to my friend Stephen for passing along his old under-robes. At some point I'd like to make my own, but for know I'll be content to get some sleep. My sewing marathon leading up to All-Con has taken its toll.

One thing I can see from my pictures that I will need to work on is the helmet gap. I'll need to add a small amount of padding to fill that out a little.

Hmmm..I made a post last night, but apparently it didn't go through.

Anyway, yes, I have been accepted into the 501st! I got my numbers about 5 hours after I submitted my application. I am now officially TR-5932!

For those not familiar with the 501st system, your numbers are unique to you. However, the prefix (in my case TR) refers to what costume category you belong to. If you have more than one approved costume, than you can have multiple prefixes.

TK = Stormtrooper
TD = Sandtrooper
TI = TIE Pilot
TR = Royal Guard
BH = Bounty Hunter
SL = Sith Lord
etc
etc
etc

Thanks for the comments Ryan. I'm quite happy with the results of all my hard work. Last week I think I logged in 30 hours of sewing getting my robes ready for All-Con.
