Autograph Successes!

So.....I’m in complete shock right now! :eek:

Went out to the mailbox this morning and inside was my SASE from my first request to Susan Sarandon & Geoffrey Rush that I sent on April 17th 2009! :eek:

I honestly didn’t think I was ever going to get this back as I had addressed the envelope to both Susan & Geoffrey & after a few weeks of no reply I thought that perhaps the stage manager tossed my letters and items, so I sent a second request on May 28th 2009 just for the signed Playbill and got that back last week on June 11th 2009.

So I went up the house and opened up the envelope and inside was a MEGA WHOPPER of a success! Susan signed all 3 of her items (Little Women DVD Cover, Enchanted 4x6 Photo & 4x6 custom Enchanted index card) with the DVD cover and photo being personalized! :eek:

Geoffrey Signed all 3 of his items (Finding Nemo VHS Cover, 4x6 POTC Photo & 4x6 Custom POTC index card) with all 3 being personalized! :eek:

And for the grand finale, both Susan & Geoffrey filled out their Q&A Cards on both sides! :eek:

I was completely stunned. I’m guessing they waited till after the play was finally over to sit down and answer my request. EXTREMELY Happy to say the least! Thanks so much Susan and Geoffrey!

Sweet! Got my photos back from 2007 American Idol winner / Singer Jordin Sparks today!

She signed my two custom American Idol photos and personalized and signed the 3rd one. Very happy with this success. Jordin’s manager contacted me via email about a month ago and said that Jordin really liked the design of the photos I made and requested the JPEG file for her own personal use!

Always a cool feeling to know celebs appreciate their fans like that. I did include a Q&A Card, but that was not returned. She also added a Bible verse on the photos as well Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, Thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you an expected end.” Thanks Jordin!

Great way to start off my week! Got a good success from NARNIA Actor Skandar Keynes yesterday! He signed both of my 4x6 Photos. He did not sign or return my custom index cards or Q&A card, but that's fine. He’s the first in my series of Narnia requests. Still waiting on Ben Barnes, Anna Popplewell & Georgie Henley. Received a SUPER-NICE success from WW2 ‘Kissing Sailor’ Carl Muscarello Today!

He personalized and signed one my custom-made 4x6-index cards (Originally sent 3) & also included his own 8x11 picture of the Famous LIFE photo!

A Newspaper article was enclosed with his story about his meeting Nurse Edith Shain on August 14th 1945. Carl also filled in the answers on my Q&A card!

He even wrote me a short handwritten letter with a photo copy of my custom card taped to it saying that he liked these so much that he wants me to make him up a whole ‘bunch’ of them for his own personal use!

I’m guessing that’s why he kept the other two.

Extremely nice guy & very happy that he took the time to reply to my letter. Thanks Carl!

Received my Georgie Henley Photos back today!

She’s the 2nd in my series of Narnia requests. But like with my Skandar Keynes response, Georgie did not return my 4x6 custom index cards & Q&A Card. I think it’s because their both with the same talent agency and an assistant goes through and takes out only the items they can officially sign or reply to.

Still I’m very happy with this success, as Georgie is such an amazing young actress!

Can’t wait to see how she and Skandar will do in the 3rd Narnia film.

And After 3 attempts I finally got a reply from Radio Disney singer Savannah Outen!

She wrote me an email last week saying that she never got my first two messages that I sent on May 2nd & 28th, but got my 3rd one that I sent on June 24th and was happy to send me a 5x7 photo which arrived today!

On the back of the photo was a reminder to visit www.zoovolution.com to learn more about stopping Animal cruelty and saying that a portion of the proceeds from buying Savannah’s ‘Hope and Prayer” song will go to the Humane Society of the united States! Being a huge animal lover myself, I was happy to see that she is too. She also sent a small sticker as well. Thanks Savannah!

Totally Cool! Received a surprise success from TRANSFORMERS & TRANSFORMERS: Revenge of the Fallen Actor Josh Duhamel today!

He personalized and signed one of my 4x6 custom made photos! I did include a total of 3 custom photos but only got the one back.

Also included a Q&A Card, but that was not returned either. Kinda wished he had returned them all, as they were really cool, but I guess he liked them too much.

Check out this awesome success I got from artist Doug Cowan yesterday!

I sent him a letter, SASE, 3 index cards, and questionnaire on June 20th, and I received on July 11th.

He sent me back a bunch of stuff in a 9x12 envelope: letter, typed answers to my questionnaire, 2 of my index cards signed w/ sketches, 1 index card signed, a signed Galaxy Series 4 card showing his work, AND an awesome sketch of Yoda on a 9.5 x 11 piece of cardstock. He sent back my unused SASE as well!! I love getting sketches from artists! Mr. Cowan is amazing - Thanks so much!

AHHHHH! Received a TOTALLY AWESOME and unexpected reply from Actor Drew Fuller today! :eek:

I really didn’t think I was ever going to get this back, because after I sent my letter I found out the agency address I used did not pass along fanmail and was really terrible with handling it. So imagine my surprise when I go out to the mailbox and find a SASE inside with the initials D.F. on it!

I ran up to the house and was shocked to see all my custom ‘The Ultimate Gift’ photos signed with two being personalized! Drew also wrote a note on the one saying ‘Great job on the pics!’ Can’t believe I actually got it back! Must be the agency is getting better with fanmail. Thanks Drew!
