Received a terrific success today from Actor Jeff Daniels! :D I sent him a Letter, SASE, Three custom index cards, 4x6 photo & a Q&A Card. Jeff signed my 4x6 photo and IC but did not sign the other two cards, though they were returned. The Q&A card was not sent back. SASE was used. Thanks Jeff!! :D

WOAH! :eek: What a way to finish off my week! Received a surprise and totally unexpected success from Christian Bale! :eek: I didn’t think I was ever going to get this back. When I got my first success back on December 5th 2008 he only personalized and signed two of the four photos I sent. I waited a couple of weeks and re-sent a request explaining that I had written him before and if it wasn’t a bother if he could sign the second set of photos. After a few weeks I gave up hope. I figured he probably read my letter but denied my request. :( But low and behold it just suddenly shows up in my mailbox today 139 days later! :D The silver Sharpie really looks stunning on both photos. Though it appears that they’re personalized to “James” (My middle name) from what I can tell. I know he puts ‘regards’ on most photos, but I don’t think that’s what it says. Either way I’m EXTREMELY happy with this surprise! ;)

I have recently gotten successes from John Hurt, Dominic Cooper, Joan Rivers, and a cast signed playbill from The Lion King in the last 2 weeks. If anyone wants me to post scans, let me know...

Hurt took 9 months, Cooper took 2 months, Joan Rivers was an e-mail success that took 3 weeks, and the Lion King took 4 months.

No recent Star Wars successes. :(
Of course, I haven't sent a whole lot of them out lately.

Well, what a way to start off the month of June! :D Received a terrific & unexpected success from Actress Kate Bosworth today! :eek: She personalized and signed two photos for me, one for my Uncle Tim who’s currently serving in the NAVY & one to my good friend Brooke!! Extremely happy with this success as were all such HUGE fans of the SUPERMAN RETURNS film. I did send a Q & A card, but that was not returned. SASE was used. Thanks so much Kate! ;)

Had a success on 6/11/09 from Vic Armstrong - someone can make a separate thread for him if they like.

Vic Armstrong has done stunts for Harrison Ford in the three original Indiana Jones movies, as well as Return of the Jedi, amongst many other film projects.

I sent a LOR, SAE, $2, 3 index cards, and questionnaire to Vic on 3/20/09 at:

Received my index cards signed and questionnaire filled out along with a picture he provided of him with Harrison Ford. The picture he sent is actually pretty cool, because it's a copy of a picture Harrison signed to him on a film set. What Harrison wrote to Vic was "Vic - If you learn to talk I'm in deep trouble!"

One of the more interesting points of the questionnaire I sent is that his most memorable stunt for Harrison was "the jump onto the tank from a horse in The Last Crusade"

He says he's doing stunt work in an upcoming picture with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz right now.

Very nice success!

Oh and I sent to his wife Wendy Leech in the same letter who did stunt work as well, but didn't get anything signed or my questionnaire back. :(

Yeah he signed all the cards. They all look pretty much the same so I got lazy and took a pic of one. the photo size is 4x6, so it would even fit in a standard envelope if you wanted.

Band ‘Bowling for Soup’ ! They sent me two 8x10 personalized and signed photos for my cousin Graham & me. :D I originally sent BFS two emails on January 6th 2008 & April 2nd 2009, so I’m guessing this is from the April 2nd 2009 one.
